Last updated: 04 October 2026

Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers

This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of access to Course A, a professional resource dedicated to studio production in motion. It covers studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and creating smooth high-quality workflows for television news and live shows. The policy governs payments made by customers in the United Kingdom for digital subscriptions and related services provided by mediaflashq. It does not cover physical goods or third-party offerings.

Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Any Additional Charges

All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate is included where applicable. No additional charges apply unless explicitly stated at checkout. Customers are responsible for any currency conversion fees imposed by their payment provider. Promotional pricing, if offered, remains valid only for the stated period and does not affect existing subscriptions.

Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation, and Payment Security

We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers where available. Payments are authorised immediately upon submission. All transactions are processed through secure third-party gateways compliant with PCI DSS standards. mediaflashq does not store card details. Authorisation may be declined for insufficient funds or suspected fraud, in which case the order will not be confirmed.

Order, Booking, or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed

A contract is formed when we send an order confirmation email after successful payment. This email includes access details for Course A. Until confirmation, no contract exists and no access is granted. Customers should retain the confirmation for their records.

Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods

Under UK consumer law, customers have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase for digital content. Cancellation within this period entitles the customer to a full refund provided no substantial access has occurred. After the cooling-off period, cancellations are subject to the terms below. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via the account dashboard, effective at the end of the current billing cycle.

Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items or Services

Refunds are available for unused portions of subscriptions cancelled within the cooling-off period or due to technical faults preventing access. Refunds are not available for content already accessed, partial months of service, or promotional offers. Digital downloads or completed modules within Course A are non-refundable once viewed.

The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact [email protected] with your order number, full name, and reason for the request. Include details of any access issues experienced. Requests must be submitted within 30 days of the original transaction. We will acknowledge receipt within two working days.

Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification of the Refund Decision

Each request is reviewed within 10 working days. Approval depends on eligibility under this policy and UK law. If approved, you will receive email confirmation. If rejected, reasons will be explained and any alternative options offered. Decisions are final but do not affect statutory rights.

Refund Method, Processing Time, and When Funds Should Reach the Customer

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing takes up to 14 days after approval, though bank processing may extend this. Customers will be notified by email when the refund is issued. No refunds are provided in cash or alternative currencies.

Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services, or Promotional Offers Where Relevant

Digital access to Course A begins immediately upon payment, which may affect cancellation rights. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Promotional trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends. Refunds for promotions are limited to the amount actually paid.

Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Suspected Fraud

Failed payments will result in access suspension until resolved. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded promptly upon verification. Chargebacks are treated as cancellations and may lead to account termination. Suspected fraud triggers immediate investigation and possible reporting to authorities while preserving customer rights.

Mandatory Consumer Rights in the Target Country That the Policy Cannot Exclude

This policy does not exclude or limit any rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Customers retain the right to pursue claims through the courts or alternative dispute resolution. Nothing in this policy affects statutory guarantees for digital content quality and fitness for purpose.
